The International Interior Tourism Trade Fair (INTUR) was held in Valladolid last week and was considered a great success.
The Málaga-Costa del Sol Tourist Board said the 15th edition of the trade fair was very positive with a large attendance from exhibitors and visitors. This year the show attracted 306 exhibitors from all over Spain, representing 1,200 travel tourism organisations.
In the section for rural tourism products and attractions were showcased by cities, regions, and countries along with transport operators, hotel chains, travel companies and tour operators.
The tourist board consider the INTUR as being the leading event in rural tourism and, nationally, the second most important tourism event in terms of size and attendance.
The goal of the trade fair was to expand the tourist board customer portfolio and increase business connections. In addition to contacts made at the fair meetings were also held between the tourist board and representatives of AVE, AEDAVE Castilla y León, Rhodasol, Catai Tours, Travelplan, Viajes Ollantai, Travelmar, Muchoviaje.com, Rumbo.es, Lastminute.com, and Minube.com.
